Every1 saysing they were death machiens but thats not truefor me. It is just alot more useful for skills this time so for anytime through other then purposely doing something different I plan to go Sentinel and any other prestige class. It's all a matter of which style you enjoy playing the most: Hack and Slash with a lightsaber, Stealth and Sneak Attack, or rip everyone apart with Force Powers. Regardless, the final stages of the game will be very easy no matter what Prestige class you pick. I imagine the same experience could be had with a Sith Assassin. The Sith Lord was a little more balanced in terms of having higher strength and combat abilities more DS specific items bumped up Strength, rather than Wisdom.īut on the other hand, Sith Lord got Force Crush, which destroyed everything in its path. But i want to do the repair missions with T3 so im kind of torn between picking master or watchman. I want the best Lightsaber Forms, but I want plenty of skill points along the way. I'm thinking of going from Sentinel to Weapon Master. It and Sith Lord are the best classs but since you're lightside be a Watchman. Watchman gets the most skills and is middle of the road force and feats. It really doesn't matter what class or prestige class you go with - come the end of the game you'll be a walking, talking death machine. Sithord was fun also: Will try assassin and maraurder. I loved weapon master though will have fun trying out watchman. Not really because you can use the crew to create powerful items on public workbenches. I was a sentinel before, so should I stay "in the middle road", or should I change focus of jedi ability at this point and go master or weaponmaster? I heard some people say that you should change here, but in KOTOR1 you were in for some feces if you changed from something like scoundrel to guardian. Fans have recently been getting a lot of classic Star Wars remasters, however, so hopefully they might serve as a source of inspiration for developers that want to do something fresh with Star Wars in the future.Kreia said that I have to choose what kind of Jedi I wanted to be, and there is no way I'm going from uber-light side to uber-evil side. Rumors of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 and a Mandalorian game are still circulating in certain corners of the industry, and the reveal of Knights of the Old Republic Remake highlight how there's still a focus on action-heavy releases. Unfortunately, the next couple of years of Star Wars gaming have not pointed towards any new racing game happening any time soon. With how varied games like The Crew 2 and the upcoming Riders Republic are making the racing genre, Star Wars could easily provide an experience that is just as diverse. Players could hop into the Millennium Falcon as Han Solo and tear up an asteroid field, or they could jump on the back of a Varactyl with Obi-Wan Kenobi and sprint through a lush jungle.

Not only could a new Star Wars racing game introduce revamped podracing, but it could expand gameplay to interstellar competitions, or races between some of the colorful creatures that have appeared in the films. As such, if the the franchise revisited racing games with today's next-gen innovations, the amount of potential that could be found would be almost limitless. It's been a really long time since Episode I: Racer released, and in that time the racing genre and Star Wars have both dramatically evolved.

RELATED: The Star Wars Video Game Announcement in December Probably Isn't What You Think It Is Tides are beginning to shift in the Star Wars gaming realm, however, and some uniqueness could be injected into the franchise by visiting a genre that Star Wars hasn't explored in some time: the world of racing games. Much of this stems from the exclusivity contract that EA has had with Star Wars for many years now, which more than a few fans have decried due to the handful of games with little variety that have been born from it. From the revolutionary storytelling of Knights of the Old Republic, to the off-the-wall action of The Force Unleashed, Star Wars has been no stranger to experimenting with video game experiences of every kind.Īs exciting as many Star Wars games have been over the years, many fans have noted a bit of tiredness with the ones that have recently been produced under the property. The property has evolved with the industry like few others can claim to, and in that time, fans have been gifted with dozens of quality titles that tell fascinating stories of the galaxy far, far away. The video game history of Star Wars is almost as wide and varied as the film history that started the whole franchise.
